Celine will be recruited when you first visit Firene during Chapter 4: A Land in Bloom. She joins Alear's party at the beginning of the battle.

Celine's personal skill and stat growths allow her to viably function as either a Magic damage dealer, or a Physical damage dealer. Adversely, this means that she will not excel at doing either.

Sword Agility 5 or Tome Precision 5 gives her the damage and survability she needs depending on what weapon you want to equip her with.

Celine's flexibility makes Break Defenses a viable choice when playing her as an active frontliner, while Resonance+ offers similar results when playing Celine as a backliner.

The recommended Emblem for Celine really depends on the main weapon she uses. Celica is an obvious choice as a tome user since, raising Celine's Mag and Res in addition to a powerful Engage Attack.

Marth is recommended for raising Celine's evasion while using the sword to make up for her low Def. Roy can also help raise Celine's Str and Res as a sword user with high survivability through his skills, making her an active offense unit.

Celine Paired Ending and Romance

Pact Ring with Celine

After clearing Chapter 22, players unlock The Connector Paralogue and can subsequently unlock the Pact Ring. This essentially acts as Fire Emblem Engage's S-Rank Support and romance route.

Alear can then give the ring to Celine once they have attained an A-Rank in support to view a special cutscene, and unlock a page in the reference about the life they lived together.

Celine's Memento

An impressively fancy tea set from Celine. She gave it to me so that we'd have matching sets for our tea parties.

Apart from obtaining an exclusive ending with Celine after giving the Pact Ring, players can also head to Alear's room and check the small table next to their bed to find a memento from her.

While the memento serves no purpose in combat whatsoever unlike the Merc Whistle in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, it further contextualizes the paired ending selected by the player.
