Try to collect all the items on the ground as these will not be collected for you if you depart early. Exploration is also your only way of getting animals, so adopt whenever it's necessary.
Speaking with your allies sometimes rewards Bond Fragments. You're more likely to receive them from those who did well during the battle. You don't need to speak to everyone though, since these fragments will be given to you once you depart.
You can get Bond Fragments by speaking to your companions during a stroll. Bond Fragments are used for creating and refining Bond Rings. You can easily see which characters can be spoken to by opening up the map with ZR.
You can interact with animals to adopt them in the Somniel. They can drop ingredients and materials when placed in the farmyard. Do note that some animals can't be adopted unless you donate enough to certain countries.
During each Exploration, there will be items scattered across the map. You can easily see where all the items are by opening up the map with ZR. Items are denoted on the map with a sparkle icon.
The items you can acquire during Exploration differ from country to country, so make sure to look around every Exploration area!
By paying certain amounts of gold to invest in Countries, you can increase the amount of items available for scavenging during your Strolls.
▶︎ Donations Effects and Rewards
Exploration lets you speak with your allies and any other characters on the map. You can use this time to listen to their thoughts about the place.
You can only go on an Exploration after a battle on the map. These battles can be from a story chapter, paralogue, or a random skirmish. You'll be able to see what items and animals you can expect from the map too.
