Prioritize Picking Up Items

Fire Emblem Engage - Items Are Not Automatically Collected

Try to collect all the items on the ground as these will not be collected for you if you depart early. Exploration is also your only way of getting animals, so adopt whenever it's necessary.

Bond Fragments Automatically Collected

Fire Emblem Engage - Bond Fragments Automatically Collected

Speaking with your allies sometimes rewards Bond Fragments. You're more likely to receive them from those who did well during the battle. You don't need to speak to everyone though, since these fragments will be given to you once you depart.
