You are able to change the time of day in the Somniel by resting in your room in Fire Emblem Engage. Learn about resting and fast-forwarding the in-game clock!

You can change the time of day at the Somniel by going to Your Room and resting in your bed. This will fast forward the clock by a few in-game hours.
▶︎ Things to Do at the Somniel
The time of day affects the encounter rate of fish at the pond. You'll have to fish at different times of day to complete your Fish Guide. Fortunately, the Fish Guide lists the times of day your missing fish can be caught.
▶︎ Fishing Guide: How to Catch Fish
Every time you rest or go to a battle, the units and Emblems appearing in the Somniel will be different. This gives you good opportunities to interact with and gift all your allies.
If you can't find a specific ally (such as when you want to give the Pact Ring to someone special), you can rest in your bed until they spawn in the Somniel.
