Post Game Content: What To Do in the Post Game

Fire Emblem Engage Post Game

You can still level up your units and do trials in the Fire Emblem Engage post game. Read on for all post game content, what becomes available after you beat the main story, and what you can do in the post game.

No New Game Plus Mode

Fire Emblem Engage New Game Plus

Unfortunately, a New Game Plus Mode is not part of the post game. Once you complete the main story, you're only free to roam about, do skirmishes, complete any unfinished Paralogues, and even rechallenge the final battle.

Note that rechallenging the final battle does not allow you to retain the EXP gained from it. If you're interested in farming for EXP, you're better off challenging Silver Corrupted.

You can try harder difficulties instead

Fire Emblem Engage Modes

If you cleared Fire Emblem Engage on Casual mode and Normal or Hard difficulty, you can next challenge Classic mode (where permadeath is enabled) and Maddening difficulty. It's just that your progression from your original save file won't carry over.

Clear Rewards

When you complete the game, you obtain 100,000 Gold and various crystals. You use crystals to augment your weapon for stat buffs.

Similarly, spend the Gold at the Armory and Item Shop (or even the Donations board) to strengthen your unit. This will come in handy in strengthening your units for the post game.

Relay Trials Difficulty Levels 41+

Fire Emblem Engage Relay Trials

You also unlock difficulty levels 41+ for the Relay Trials at the Tower of Trials. Relay Trials are an exclusively online feature where you team up with other players online and take turns fighting enemies. Nintendo Switch Online is required to access this feature.

Vicious Volcano Relay Trial

Level Up All Units

Fire Emblem Engage Level Up

Even after completing the main story, you can still level up your characters and experiment with their classes! Build the best version of your unit by choosing a strong class for them and maxing out their level. This could help you with consecutive battles at the Tower of Trials.

Reach A-Support Between All Characters

Fire Emblem Engage Support Level

You can also still increase your support level between units in the post game. This'll take some time, as you'd have to make all 39 units reach A-Support Rank with one another. You can even have the protagonist reach the max Support Rank with one special character through the Pact Ring. This act unlocks a paired ending, unique to each character you give the Pact Ring to.

You could even take it a step further and have all characters reach Rank A Bond Level with all Emblems!

Complete Bond Ring Collection

Fire Emblem Engage Bond Ring Collection

Forging Bond Rings is a gacha element within Fire Emblem Engage, so completing the Bond Ring collection will take some time, luck, and a ton of Bond Fragments. Excluding DLC Emblems, each Emblem has 40 Bond Rings you can obtain!

Complete All Achievements

Fire Emblem Engage Achievements

You can aim to complete all Achievements found at the Bulletin Board at the Somniel's Cafe Terrace, as these achievements are composed of challenges relating to battling, allies, and Somniel activities. This will also help you complete the Bond Collection, since completing achievements rewards you with Bond Fragments.

When you clear the game; does exp. from the last battle get carry over to post game? or would it just treat it as it didn't happen?
