Completing Micaiah's paralogue increases her Bond Level cap from 10 to 20, opening up the option to learn new skills and gain Thani.

Once you reach Chapter 20: The Kingless Castle, the Frozen Fortress becomes available on the world map and unlocks Paralogue: The Dawn Maiden.

|
Flying units with strong physical capabilities are great for moving around the fort and reaching Micaiah easily. |
 Lindwurm
 Mage Knight
|
Several of Micaiah's forces are Armored and have low Res. Clear them out quickly with your Magic users. Again, mounted units are preferred so they can close in on Micaiah faster. |
 Sigurd
|
Sigurd's large Mov can make a huge difference, especially on the turn you're attacking Micaiah. |
 Lyn
|
Lyn's Astra Storm paired with Mulagir and a strong physical attacker can make quick work of Micaiah's first HP bar, possibly one-shotting her. This leaves her easier to defeat with her remaining HP. |
The Dawn Maiden Battle Walkthrough
| Objective | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Send your mounted units to the frontlines. With the defend condition and all the ballistae, the map almost wants you to play defensively. However, the best way to approach this is to get to Micaiah as quickly as possible. |
| 2 | Rout the forces around Micaiah. Ensure none of the enemies slip through the entrances of the fort. Advance toward Micaiah, making sure enough units can reach her. |
| 3 | Focus on Micaiah and defeat her. Around Turn 4, reinforcements will arrive around Micaiah. Use Emblems like Sigurd and Lyn to bypass them and finish her off. |
3. How to Beat Micaiah
Micaiah has a very exploitable Def stat, so physical weapons are highly recommended against her. It's also best to beat her quickly before you're overrun with reinforcements, so use mounted units to reach her. If you're using Cavalry units, make sure she can't counter with Thani, as this tome is effective against them.
