SP Farming Guide: How to Get Skill Points

How to Farm SP
Skill Points are an important resource that allow units to inherit skills from Emblems in Fire Emblem Engage. Read on to find out how to farm SP and how to use them!

Infinite SP Farming Method

Unit Trapping Then Charging Emblems

Requirements Tiki Emblem, High Defense Units, at least level 8 bond with Tiki (Optional)

To make this method work, you'll want to have the Tiki Emblem and a few trapped enemy units. To trap units, you'll need high armored units and an enemy unit that deals little to no physical damage and you'll have to place that enemy unit and your tank unit in a position where the enemy won't be able to press further. Narrow corridors are perfect for this setup.

You'll then want your Tiki Emblem holder to take blows from the enemy so you can charge up the emblem attack then use Divine Blessing on an ally to grant free SP for the Tiki Emblem holder. This is an intensive method but it can allow you to gather huge amounts of SP in one map together with some EXP! Restoratives will not be an issue as well as Tiki's Emblem has the Lifesphere skill to generate free HP for the emblem holder unless you want to use staves to level up your healers as well.

Defeat Enemies While Synced

・Dealing the last hit to an enemy yields extra SP
・Defeating a named enemy yields extra SP

Do Standard Training In Between Battles

Fire Emblem Engage Standard Training

The Arena in Somniel offers Standard Training where you will fight against your allies in mock battles to earn EXP and SP (Skill Points). Standard Training can only be done up to 3 times after every battle, so try to do 3 of them in between battles for efficiency.

Defeat Silver Corrupted Enemies

Silver Corrupted enemies give more EXP and SP than regular enemies when defeated. Each one killed will net you about 60 - 70 SP. They appear in Skirmishes and you can increase their spawn rate by making donations to the different kingdoms.

Advantages and Disadvantages of This Method
Advantages ・ No set-up required
・ Gain EXP at the same time
Disadvantages ・Dependent on the spawn rate and may not even appear
・ May be difficult when targeting a specific unit

Use Micaiah's Great Sacrifice

Great Sacrifice

Emblem Micaiah has an Engage Attack called Great Sacrifice that heals all units on the field. Healing more HP of your allied units will increase the amount of SP earned. Using Great Sacrifice will earn you about 150 SP in one battle.

Combo Great Sacrifice with Celica's Inheritance Skill

Celica Favorite Food

Emblem Celica's skill Favorite Food fully restores the engage meter of a unit, allowing you to use Great Sacrifice twice. Simply use Great Sacrifice, and then Favorite Food so Great Sacrifice becomes available immediately. This method will earn you about 170 SP per battle.

Advantages and Disadvantages of This Method
Advantages ・Huge amount of SP and EXP per battle
・ Can be done any time as long as you have access to a Skirmish or Standard Training
・Can train a specific unit
Disadvantages ・ Needs preparation by manipulating the HP of your units
・ Requires Level 8 Bond Level with Celica
