Nil joins Alear's party during at the start the Fell Xenologue DLC storyline. Alongside Nel, Nil is one of the characters that introduces Alear a continent of Elyos far different from the one he has grown accustomed to.

Recruited Upon Completion of the Fell Xenologue

While Nil is playable during most of the events of the Fell Xenologue, they can't actually be customized or reclassed until they officially join the party after the Fell Xenologue credits roll.


Nil's true identity will be revealed to be Rafal. He will join the party under this name.

Pairing Nil with Ike allows him to be bulkier, thanks to Resolve and Laguz Friend. He can also delay his attack to get higher defenses in return using Great Aether.

With Leif, Nil can deal more damage while also being a bit bulkier. Adaptable allows him to counter attack foes, while Quadruple Hit allows him to dish out more damage on enemies.
