Engage with Emblems in order to achieve fusion with the Emblem Rings in Fire Emblem Engage. Learn more about how to fill up the Engage Meter and the different Engage Weapons, Engage Attacks, and Engage Skills of the Emblem heroes.
List of Contents
First, you need to sync your unit with an Emblem Ring. While in battle, select a unit and equip them with an Emblem Ring. You'll know that your unit is synced with an Emblem Ring when the Emblem hero appears to fight alongside your unit.
Once equipped with an Emblem Ring, an icon of your Emblem will appear with a circular Engage Meter around your unit. This meter will gradually fill up during the course of the battle. Once filled up, you can Engage with your Emblem by selecting Engage and pressing A.
Engage only last for 3 turns. After which, you need to fill up your engage meter to use it again. The meter can be filled up by attacking, getting hit, casting spells, or standing on an Engage meter tile.
Engaging makes your unit fuse with the Emblem, which unlocks unique Engage Skills, Engage Weapons, and Engage Attacks for your unit. The fusion lasts for only three turns, after which you'll have to wait for the Engage meter to charge back up again.
Each Emblem Ring offers different Engage Skills, ranging from powered-up attacks to special abilities that help alter the battlefield to your favor. Since each unit comes with different type advantages and disadvantages, you can find the strategic combination of unit and Emblem in order to maximize the Engage mechanic.
Equipping your unit with an Emblem Ring also rewards them with a Synchro Skill that is unique to the Emblem your unit is paired with. Unlike Engage Skills, this skill doesn't require your unit and an Emblem to be engaged to activate.
