You can get a Brave Axe for free after leveling up Solm to Lvl 3 via the bulletin board in Cafe Terrace. You'll need a total of 10,000G worth of donations to do this, so make sure to stock up on gold!
Aside from Brave Axe, there are plenty of other rewards thay you can get when you donate money to the 4 Kingdoms of Elyos.
Brave Axe can be bought from the Armory at the Somniel for 8,000G from Chapter 21 onwards. The stronger the weapon you want to buy, the more expensive it is so make sure you have enough money to buy each of your ally a strong weapon.
