A Rare Card Lost is a Side Quest that can be unlocked during Chapter 2 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth). Read on to learn more about how to unlock A Rare Card Lost, how to complete it, as well as the available rewards for completing the side quest.
You can unlock the A Rare Card Lost side quest after completing the Break in the Saddle Main Scenario. Afterwards, you can accept this job in the Kalm noticeboard or go directly to Vash in The Rusty Arrow.
Start the quest by speaking to Vash, the bartender in The Rusty Arrow. He will explain that his prized card has been lost through a game of Queen's Blood and will need your help to win it back!
To test your Queen's Blood skills, Vash will challenge you to a game. Beat him and he will trust you to take back his lost card.
It is possible to beat him using just the starter deck as long as you prioritize taking up space on the board first. Make sure you have at least two cards that only cost one pawn. Then, save the Security Officer to use it in the middle of the board to capture any pawns your opponent has.
All Queen's Blood Card Locations
The opponent he lost his card to, Virgil, will be located by the Clock Tower. Challenge him to a game and defeat him. Afterwards, he will reveal that he sold the card to a guy named Thorin, who runs a card shop outside of town.
You can also beat him by using the started deck. Simply use the same tactic of taking up space on the board first. It's crucial you get his space since he can play cards that can increase his cards' values.
Speak to Thorin, whom you can purchase new cards from, and challenge him to a game. Once you beat him, you will receive Vash's prized card, the Chocobo and Moogle card.
Once again, you can beat him with the starter deck by using the same strategy of taking up his space as soon as possible. Try to claim any of his two pawn spots so he can't use his Riot Trooper.
Deliver the card to Vash to complete the quest. You will receive Card 107: Chocobo and Moogle for completing this quest.
You win a Queen's Blood card game by winning 2 out of 3 lanes on the board. You can do this by having the most value on each, indicated by the numbers on each end.
If you get to the point where you can place cards in the middle row, it will give you the advantage to take more power. This is because a lane can only hold 5 cards. A card advantage in lane can guarantee a win!
At the start of the game, you can redraw, or mulligan, cards. We recommend redrawing until you have at least two 1-cost cards, as indicated by the amount of pawns on the top-left of the card. This will allow you to reliably expand your base at the beginning of the match.
Stealing all of the opponent's pawns renders them unable to make any moves. Try to bait them into placing their pawn right next to your pawn so you can easily steal it!
Cards that can expand your territory on the board will make sure you can put more cards down than your opponent. Always opt for cards that can do this well, such as the Security Officer.
