Level Up Characters

The only way to gain SP is by leveling up your characters, which can be achieved through several methods such as grinding EXP from World Intel, doing Combat Simulator Challenges, and completing Odd Jobs. Do these tasks if you want to level up your characters faster, as with every level gained, they'll get more SP.

Purchase Manuscripts

You can also expand everyone's SP limit by obtaining their respective manuscripts. These manuscripts can be purchased or earned as rewards from various sources such as Moogle Emporiums, Odd Jobs, and Gold Saucer Prizes.

Buy from Moogle Emporiums

To access the Moogle Emporium of each region, simply complete the Moogle Intel which requires you to play the Moogle Mischief minigame. You will also need Moogle Medals to purchase items from their shop, so make sure to have some to buy manuscripts.

Buy from Gold Saucer Prize Stands

You could also purchase manuscripts by exchanging them with Gold Saucer points at various stands in Gold Saucer. You will need to complete minigames, and earn Gold Saucer points as rewards from these minigames so you could exchange them with prizes.

Earn Manuscripts as Odd Job Rewards

Manuscripts can also be earned from completing Odd Jobs throughout your game progression. Simply head towards Community Noticeboards located at villages, and accept the Odd Jobs listed there to begin them.

How to Use SP

Unlock Skills in the Folio Skill Tree

The primary function of SP is to unlock new stats, skills, and synergy abilities. You can do this by visiting Maghnata Books, where you can freely customize all of your characters' folio and build their set of skills. This feature can be unlocked as early as Chapter 2, as soon as you get to explore Kalm.

Can Also Be Accessed Using the Maghnata Automat

You can also customize folios using the Maghnata Automat. This is particularly useful if you're unable to fast travel due to chapter restrictions or if there are no nearby towns to access during your exploration.

Unlock Synergy Skills and Abilities

In addition to stat boosts and skills, you can also unlock new Synergy Skills and Abilities from the Folio Skill Tree using SP. This is highly recommended for characters you frequently use, as it makes them more powerful in combat.

Refund to Unlock Other Skills

You can also refund SP by simply resetting any of the skills you've unlocked. To do this, just press the (△) button to reset the skill and get all your SP back.
