How to Get Aurochs-Skin Grimoire
Obtained in Ryngrim's Domain

Aurochs-Skin Grimoire can be acquired in Ryngrim's Domain at Shatterscarp. The domain can be accessed during the Shadows of the Past main quest.
After meeting Ryngrim in person, press the switch on the bookshelf along the northern wall. Enter the hidden room to find the grimoire on top of the altar.

Cost: 75 Essence Cooldown: 20 seconds Conjures a sphere of arcane energy that rises upwards, unleashing a destructive volley of missiles that seeks nearby enemies. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 2 |
 Freezing Pillar
|
Cost: 120 Essence Cooldown: 30 seconds Drives a large pillar of frigid ice into the ground, dealing damage and high Frost Accumulation to nearby enemies. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 3 |
 Arcane Seal
|
Cost: 10 Essence Cooldown: 60 seconds Conjures an Arcane Seal at your feet for 30 seconds. Your Essence regenerates while you stand within the seal's lingering area of effect. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 4 |
Equip Grimoires in the off-hand slot to gain access to its innate abilities. Spells unlocked within the Wizard tree increase in potency when used via a Grimoire.
Note that some spells require the Grimoire Mastery passive at a certain rank to use.

Weapons can be upgraded in the Workbench, requiring Metal or Wood and Herbs of equal rarity to do so. Upgrading Weapons increases its stats, raising its effectiveness in combat.
