The Blastling is a high damage weapon that can be used between medium to long-range. They have a large area of effect, which depends on how much the weapon is drawn, and it can leave an area of residual damage after use.
However, since Blastslings use bombs as ammo, they cannot tear off machine components and can only destroy them.
This weapon can inflict Acid damage, Adhesive damage, and Purgewater damage on enemies. Elemental damage applies additional effects on their targets, such as dealing damage over time or making them more vulnerable to attacks. Certain types of elemental damage are also more effective against some enemies.
When upgraded, this weapon gains perks which make it highly effective when used while Aloy is constantly moving since it has increased damage while sliding or in mid-air. You can increase the effectiveness of these perks by upgrading your weapon.
