Located Beside Suspension Bridge in Gongaga Region

In Chapter 9, on the Gongaga region, jump to the other side of the platform on the image using a Chocobo. The area is found beside the suspension bridge.

On Chapter 11, you can find a Warding Materia on your way to the Nibel Reactor. After the cliff climbing scene, climb the wooden ledge then head right to find the Materia.

The Warding materia can be purchased from stores that sell materia from chapter 10 onwards.
