Clanne is outmost a better physical fighter than a magic user. I made him into a swordmaster, not only does it fits his style but also fits his stat growth.

>>2 it's his direct class up, it has decent str stat growth without having to forget all the mag he already had for leveling up to lv 10, the mage knight skill is quite usefull, u can use magic swords while your str is still low to break axe users, u have the option to use magic to avoid break status, and kill armored or flying units with Wind, it becomes fast thanks to his own stat growth and tanky for the class growth, which makes him resist/avoid 3-4 attacks in maddening difficulty.
