Bow Knights tend to get a bad reputation for redundancy. +40 hit on one of the highest dexterity classes in the game. Bows also have okay hit rates so there isn't really a dire need for the +40 hit for bows. That said, it's easy to forget bows aren't the only thing Bow Knights use. They can also use a sword/axe/lance. They can very easily skirt the edges of enemy movement range and then strike with a melee weapon with high hitrate. Just make sure to have canter, as this class needs it to work.
