Strength is a stat in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth) that directly affects the damage done by physical attacks. Learn more about the Strength stat, what it does, and how to increase it in this guide!
The Strength stat determines the amount of physical damage done by you and your teammates. The higher this stat, the more damage your party members deal with swords, guns, fists, ninja stars, and claws.
Not to be confused with Attack which can be modified through weapons, armor, and certain abilities, Strength can only be modified by either leveling up, equipping accessories, and unlocking stat improvement Folio nodes.
Accessories, unlike other battle equipment, are the only equipment that can provide increases to passive stats such as Strength. Equipping accessories like the Power Wristguards can increase your overall Strength.
Regularly visiting Maghnata Books and Automats to check on your Character Folios is a good habit to adopt if you want to make your characters stronger.
Character Folios, apart from ability and skill nodes, also have stat improvement nodes that permanently increase a character's stat! Be sure to check where these nodes are and plan your course ahead of time.
Suffice it to say that leveling up is the most natural and permanent way of increasing a character's parameters. The good thing about battles in FF7 Rebirth is that even if characters are in the backline, they can still gain EXP and level up.
Do not hesitate to take on powerful foes such as Fiends to garner large amounts of EXP. By doing so, you can also accumulate World Intel for Materia development, hitting two birds with one stone!
