What are Orange Enemies?

Servants in Castles are Highlighted Orange

When Naoe uses her eagle vision, enemies and guards will be highlighted as red, while servants will be highlighted in orange. These orange enemies are non-hostile NPCs commonly found in Castles.

Are Orange Enemies Hostile?

No, But They Call for Help if They See You in Restricted Zones

When servants spot you inside a restricted zone like a Castle, they will run away and alert nearby guards. Once alerted, they bring back the guards to your last known position prompting an investigation sequence.

Some Servants Attack You Before Running

If you get too close to a servant, there is a possibility that they will attack you once before running away. This does not do a lot of damage, but this can still stagger you and alert guards.

How to Handle Servants

Assassinate Them to Stop Reinforcements

The easiest way to handle these servants is to assassinate them if they spot you. Players will still have to hide the body, as guards will begin investigating if they find a corpse.

Note: Unlike regular civilians, killing servants won't cause you to desync. Since they are pesky to deal with, it will always be better to kill them instead of avoiding them or knocking them out.

Quickly Hide and Reposition

Servants run a long way until they reach the nearest guard. Use this time to break their line of sight and retreat into stealth.
