Pre-order Bonus DLC: Thrown to the Dogs Quest

Thrown to the Dogs is a bonus quest available for free at launch if you pre-order any version of the game. This quest involves the player helping a loyal dog avenge their late master.

Deluxe Edition DLC: Sekiryu Packs and Mastery Points

you can obtain the Sekiryu Dual and Sekiryu Hideout packs by purchasing either the Deluxe Edition, Collector's Edition or the Ubisoft+ Premium Edition.

The Sekiryu Dual Pack contains new weapons and gear sets for Naoe and Yasuke while the Sekiryu Hideout Pack contains ornaments used to customize your own hideout.

Story Expansion DLC: Claws of Awaji

You can purchase Claws of Awaji if you pre-order any version of Assassin's Creed Shadows. This means that you will have the story expansion for free if you pre-order the game.

Purchase Separately on Release Date

The Claws of Awaji DLC will become available as a separate purchase during its release date for players who haven't pre-ordered the game.

Claws of Awaji is Set in the Island of Awaji

The Claws of Awaji DLC is the only DLC announced so far for Assassin's Creed Shadows. The story will be set on the island of Awaji, which is beyond the Osaka Bay. This location will be a new open world region separate from the base game's map.

The main pair, Naoe and Yasuke, will travel to this new region in order to find a lost treasure. However, this will not be an easy task as they are hunted by new dangerous foes, the Sanzoku Ippa, within the island.

Over 10 Hours of Content

Ubisoft has confirmed that the Claws of Awaji DLC will have more than 10 hours of new story content.

Unlock the Bō for Naoe

Claws of Awaji also features the Bō staff, a new weapon type that Naoe can wield.

New Skills and Gear

The island of Awaji doesn't just contain enemies hunting you but also new gear that you can equip, as well as new skills and abilities that you can utilize to fend for yourself.
