How to Unlock the Zashiki

The Zashiki is an unlockable room for your Hideout in Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows). Read on to learn how to unlock the Zashiki, its effects when built in the Hideout, and its related trophy in-game.

Spare or Kill Merchant Tamao in the Iron Hand Guild Quest

Merchant Tamao Target Rewards

The Zashiki themed room unlock is a reward for sparing or killing Merchant Tamao - one of the Iron Hand Guild objective board targets located in Kyoto, Yamashiro. Once he's been dealt with, you'll be able to construct the Zashiki back in your Hideout.

Note Killing the Iron Hand before engaging with any of the other board targets will automatically reward you with the Zashiki unlock. However, going this route causes you to miss out on the rewards for killing or sparing the other targets in the Iron Hand Guild objective board.

ZashikiZashiki Type: Themed / Connectable Room
Effect: Ration efficiency is increased by 20%.
Display Stations: 2 Sations that can display outfits, artwork, or weapons.

 Suture Self
Fully upgrade your rations.

The trophy, Suture Self, requires you to fully upgrade your rations (healing items). In order to fully upgrade your rations, you'll need to build the Zashiki and Tea Room in the Hideout to maximize their healing efficiency. Then, you'll need to find all Food Vendors on the map to increase the amount of Rations you can hold.
