While traveling as Naoe, you may encounter a man who will wager you Mon for answering a riddle and asks you to gues ask you "I am sucked in from the bottom and let out from the mouth. What am I?" The correct answer is Tobacco smoke, as smoke is inhaled from the bottom and let out from the mouth.
Wager Riddle Rewards
100 Mon
After answering correctly, the man will beg for the Mon again, explaining that he has nothing left to pay his debts or support his children. You can choose to keep your wager or have pity on him and let him keep his Mon.
If you choose to keep the Mon, you will receive 100 Mon.
Rewards World Rumor or Scout Intel
If you decide not to take the money, he will offer you either a World Rumor or Scout Intel, which may prove to be the more valuable reward.
Choosing World Rumor pins a location or activity that you haven't unlocked yet on your map. Choosing Scout Intel replenishes one of your scouts. This option will not be available if all your scouts are still available.
