How to Unlock Elder Empathy
Talk to The Elderly Woman in Mibuno
To start the quest, talk to the Elderly Woman near the Gear Vendor in Mibuno Vale in northeast Iga, west of Naoe's House.
Elder Empathy Walkthrough
Kill 100 Bandits
The elderly woman will ask you to eliminate bandits who rob or kill people of Iga. Only bandits within the Iga region will be counted, regardless if you found them in enemy bases, out in the wild, or while doing quests.
If you want to focus on the objective of this quest, you can go around hostile points of interest, or those marked with a red diamond on the map, to hunt bandits. However, not all hostile areas have bandits, as you will find samurai in areas like the military districts.
Best Bandit Hunting Locations
The best places to hunt bandits in Iga are the Four Devils Lair, which is overrun by bandits, and the hostile Bandit Camp . Both are located at the Nabari Wilds.

Other than the usual EXP and Mon rewards, you will also get Wood, Silk, Ironsand, and Tamahagane after eliminating 50 and 100 bandits, respectively.
