Temples are POI's where players can explore and collect Lost Pages in Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows). See an interactive map for all temples, including a list of temple locations and their rewards.

Temples are indicated through a red building icon. They can also be spotted on your navigational hud on the top of the screen as a red question mark icon if undiscovered.

All Temple Locations

Izumi Settsu Temples

Temple	Directions
Makinoodera Temple	Players begin the game at Makinoodera Temple.
Gansenji Temple	Players will come across Gansenji Temple while progressing The Fatherless Monk main quest.
Tennoji Temple	Head to the Osaka Kakurega and travel east.

Yamashiro Temples

Temple	Directions
Toji Temple	Travel to the Southern Kyoto Kakurega.
Honnoji Temple	Travel to the Southern Kyoto Kakurega and travel north.
Kiyomizudera Temple	Travel to the Southern Kyoto Kakurega and travel northeast.
Kuramadera Temple	Head to the North Kyoto Kakurega and travel northwest.
Byodoin Temple	Travel to the Ogura Scenic Kakurega and travel northeast.
Tenryuji Temple	Head to the Eagle's Nest Kakurega and travel northwest.
Shokokuji Temple	Travel to the North Kyoto Kakurega and travel a short distance north.
Kinkakuji Temple	Travel to the Arashiyama Kakurega and travel east.

Omi Temples

Temple	Directions
Miidera Temple	Travel to the Otsu Kakurega and travel a short distance north.
Hogonji Temple	Travel to the Nagahama Kakurega and take a boat to travel west to the island.
Enryakuji Temple	Players can travel to the Sakamoto Kakurega and travel west.

All Temple Rewards

Finding All Lost Pages Awards 1 Knowledge Point and 500 EXP

Completing Temples will reward the player with 1 Knowledge Point and 500 EXP. Knowledge Points are used to unlock abilities for weapons, so it is recommended to clear these temples whenever you come across them for an easy point.

How to Complete Temples

Use Observation to Look for Lost Pages

Players can use observation (hold down LT on Xbox, L2 on PS5, or MB2 on PC) to scan the area for Lost Pages. These will be marked by white dots, indicating the scroll's location.

View Lost Pages Needed on the Map

The main objective of temples will be collecting the number of Lost Pages indicated when highlighting the temple on the map. These pages are hidden throughout the temple, and are colored blue with a red ribbon.

Some Temples May Have Enemies

Some temples will have guards on patrol. Simply dispatch these guards or sneak past them while collecting Lost Pages. How you deal with the guards will have no effect on your wanted status.
