Should You Pick Love, Success, or Longevity

Choosing the love, success, or longevity water streams makes no difference in outcome during the Inside Help quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows). Learn whether you should choose love, success, or longevity in this article.

Ujimasa Says Choose Carefully
Choice Result
I choose love Ujimasa will hand you a ladle of water from the stream of love and say you chose well.
I choose success
(Canon Choice)		 Ujimasa will hand you a ladle of water from the stream of success and say you chose well.
I choose longevity Ujimasa will hand you a ladle of water from the stream of longevity and say you chose well.

At the start of the Inside Help objective in The Fool questline you will meet Ujimasa. He offers you a choice to drink from three water streams, each granting a different blessing: love, success, or longevity.

Naoe or Yasuke will briefly explain their choice, with a different response for each dialogue option. However, your decision won't affect the story and Ujimasa will always say you chose well. The streams do not grant any unique buffs or rewards either.

Should You Choose Love, Success, or Longevity?

Success is the Canon Choice

Yasuke Success Choice

Choosing success is the canon option, with Naoe expressing a desire for peace and Yasuke seeking unity for the country.

However, Ujimasa's dialogue remains the same regardless of your choice. He will give you The Twisted Tree Assassination Objectives afterward.
