AC Shadows - Shizuka, Sanuki or Shigure

Initial Decision Doesn't Matter, But You Have to Remember It

Imai Sokyu

Choosing between Shizuka, Sanuki, or Shigure doesn't matter much as it does not affect the gameplay or story in a major way. However, you must introduce yourself using the same name during The Tea Ceremony quest. Mentioning a different name, especially to Wakasa, will affect the outcome of the Golden Teppo questline.

Still, if you want to pick the canon name choice, you should pick Sanuki.

During The Tea Ceremony quest, you will introduce yourself to other ceremony guests where you can choose between the three fake names once again.

Using a different name than the one you gave to Imai Sokyu will have the guest giving you a mean look later on in the quest when he announces the name you gave him to the group.
