Retrieve the Box
After the events of the Fight of the Kakushiba Ikki, Naoe will have to track down the Onryo Samurai who stole the box. Travel to Katano Castle and infiltrate it.

| 1 |  Go to Katano Castle To retrieve the box, you must first travel to Katano Castle. Players gain access to a horse, which can be used to make travel faster. You can turn Pathfinder on if you're having trouble finding the way to the castle. |
| 2 |  Climb the Tower Reaching the gate of the castle will reveal that there are guards standing in the way. Look to the right of the gate and you will find an opening where you can climb with a grappling hook. |
| 3 |  Look for the Box Use Naoe's freerunning to traverse the rooftops. Pair this with observation to look for the box and move to the location undetected. |
Naoe Can Hide in the Shadows
Stealth in Assassin's Creed Shadows has been slightly enhanced to benefit the player. This makes Naoe even less likely to be detected by stepping into the shadows.
Use your Kunai to destroy light sources and remain undetected. Naoe will have a white outline, indicating that she is hidden.
Assassinate the Onryo Samurai
Players can use Naoe's parkour and climbing to get to a vantage point undetected. Assassinate the Onryo Samurai from above and avoid combat altogether.

| 1 |  Follow the Lamps to Get to the Rooftop After retrieving the box, follow the lamps to guide you to the Onryo Samurai. Climb the structure found northwest of the building where the box was supposed to be and follow the objective marker west. |
| 2 |  Perch on the Vantage Point Dispatch the guard standing by a lamp, and jump onto the building south of the lamp. You will find a metal pole which you can perch on that faces Ido Yoshihiro, the Onryo Samurai. |
| 3 |  Use the Grappling Hook to Assassinate the Onryo Samurai Perching on the metal pole, Naoe can use her grappling hook to position herself directly above Ido Yoshihiro. Players can then assassinate Ido Yoshihiro from above with a well timed swing. |
Kill the Onryo Samurai before Escaping
You will be forced into combat after attempting to assassinate Ido Yoshihiro. However, as long as his death is confirmed, you will be free to run away from combat.
Escape Katano Castle
Use your parkour to climb buildings and escape the castle. Once you get over the walls, jump into the moat and start running away from the castle. This will trigger a cutscene, ending the quest.
