During the Suika no Bakemono questline, players will come across two men with helmets made out of a melon (makuwauri) and watermelon (suika). The player is asked to choose whether they prefer the suika or the makuwauri. Choosing either option will lead to the player fighting the champion of the other group, crowning the fruit you chose as the Melon Lord.
