Is Killing the Tsuno Justice?

Add to Watchlist

Is Killing the Tsuno Justice

Choosing why the Tsuno deserves to be killed will have no effect on your playthrough in Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows). Read on to see the outcomes of the Tsuno choice in the quest Broken Horns, during the questline to assassinate the Ox.

Choice Result
The Tsuno wishes to fight. Yasuke says that the Tsuno is a warrior that has chosen his path, and Nakamura Tadashige responds saying that we will bring an end to that path.
He will never get justice. Yasuke says that the justice that the Tsuno wants is destructive.
It's about more than the Tsuno. Naoe says killing the Tsuno is about justice for the warriors who were taken by force.
Justice is not our goal. Naoe says that this is not their fight. Rather, they are fighting for the freedom of the people to decide on their justice.

Before setting out to assassinate the Ox, the player must initiate the attack by talking to Nakamura Tadashige. Doing so will initiate a dialogue discussing how the Ox's conscripts should be dealt with.

Given the option to determine what sort of justice they may face, players can decide for themselves what sort of justice will be dealt. However, your decision here will not change the course of the story, or affect the succeeding encounters in any way.

The Tsuno Wishes To Fight

The Tsuno Wishes to Fight

Saying that the Tsuno wishes to fight speaks to the circumstances of both Yasuke and the Tsuno. While the Tsuno and the rest of the Ox's conscripts should be removed from the war between the League and the Shinbakufu, we cannot change what currently is and what stands between us and our goals.

In the end, Yasuke and the Tsuno are bound to fight due to their own convictions. This choice does not alter the story in any way, and has no special rewards.
