How to Complete the Veiled Tumulus
The Veiled Tumulus can only be accessed and completed by Naoe. If you're currently using Yasuke, switch characters before attempting to enter the Kofun.
Note: There will be a few Level 29 enemies inside the Kofun, although they are meant to be eliminated by Naoe.
| Step | Walkthrough |
|---|---|
| 1 |  The Kofun is located north of Wakasa. You can head east from Obama or west from Kumagawa to reach the Kofun, then enter the gap as Naoe and be at least Level 29 for the enemies inside. |
| 2 |  Upon entering, you'll encounter three bandits. The first one is easy to sneak up on and assassinate. For the next two, you can perform a double assassination or throw a tool at the nearby explosive barrel. |
| 3 |  After eliminating the enemies, climb up the cave path ahead and follow it until you reach a destructible wall. |
| 4 |  Destroy the barrel slotted right next to the wall with a Kunai or Shuriken, and continue to the next room. |
| 5 |  Past the next destructible wall, climb up the right side of the cave and follow the upward path. |
| 6 |  You'll find a Refill Tools box along the way. Just past it, spot an opening where you can see an explosive barrel. Throw a Kunai or another tool to detonate it and break the wall below. |
| 7 |  Go through the newly made opening gap and head forward along the cave paths. You will then climb up and slide down a slope, diving into a pool of water. |
| 8 |  Swim out of the water and head through the hallway nearby. At the end of it will be two bandits to eliminate. |
| 9 |  After eliminating them, continue down the hallway and climb the walls at the end. At the top of the climb is another destructible wall. |
| 10 |  Destroy the barrel visible through the opening, then enter the path to the final room through the destroyed wall on the left. |
| 11 |  In the final room, you'll face three bandits, including a heavy variant. You need to eliminate all the bandits before opening the chest. |
| 12 |  Unlock the Legendary Chest to claim your rewards. Then climb up above the chest to get to the shortcut exit. Completion Rewards: ・2000 XP ・Knowledge Point ・Stone Heart ・Spread Affliction With Combo Ender |
How to Exit the Veiled Tumulus
Above the Legendary Chest
Climb above the chest to find a box with a explosive barrel on top. Do not shoot the barrel,and instead push the box slightly to let the barrel roll off and break a wall below. Go through the destroyed wall to take a shortcut back to the Kofun entrance.

The vault can be reached in the north of Wakasa, the most Northern region on the map. Travel west from Kumagawa Kakurega or east Obama, these being close-by fast travel areas to the Veiled Tumulus.
