Bloodletter is the best Kusarigama because of its guaranteed Bleed when using Entanglement and its inherent Bleed affliction buildup. Slot in any of the legendary engravings from the Kusarigamas below or one that boosts Bleed damage to really make this the best. |

 Featherstorm |
The best Kusarigama since it allows you to spam heavy posture attacks with ease. However, similar to other legendary Kusarigamas, this falls short of S-tier since it has no inherent affliction buildup. |
 Ocean's Grip |
Good for heavy posture attack spam since it'll be easy to trigger the +60% bonus damage if you keep enemies spaced out. It also synergizes really well with Cyclone Blast and all of its upgrades. | |

 Deathbloom |
Most of your alternate attacks will be during light attack combos which aren't as powerful as heavy posture attack spam. |
 Demon Tooth |
While it does upgrade Rush Assassinate, this ability isn't as useful as many of the other Assassinate abilities you already have by Knowledge Rank 5. With no inherent affliction buildup, you're better off using its engraving in a better Kusarigama instead of using it as your main weapon. | |

 Death Whisperer |
+200% damage on enemy collisions is very situational. Couple this with no afflication buildup and you have a mostly useless weapon compared to the non-legendaries you get during early game. |
 Winds of War |
Its engraving is pretty bad since you're guaranteed to already break armor with posture attacks without having to rely on Dazing enemies just to get an armor break. |
Best Kusarigama
The Bloodletter is the Best Due to its Inherent Bleed
Unlike most of the legendary Kusarigamas available in-game, the Bloodletter stands out because it has inherent Bleed buildup instead of bonus Critical Damage as its fourth stat. This allows you to take advantage of Bleed and its crazy damage output in combat.
On top of this, you're always guaranteed to inflict Bleed on an enemy when you hit your Entanglement passive, making 1v1s a walk in the park since you can just spam Entanglement over and over again.
