Apparently, the first step to finding the elusive "Wounded" Onryo is looking for a warrior-monk named Kyonyo. Travel to Osaka and head south until you reach the Gansenji Temple.

A fight can be heard as you approach the temple. Assist the warrior-monks in defending the temple from the attacking samurai by killing all marked enemies. Once the temple reclaims its peace, talk to Kyonyo to complete the quest.
