Found in Sotomo Cove, Wakasa
You can find Nagano Saemon at the northernmost part of the map in Sotomo Cove, located northwest of Wakasa.
After examining the dead soldier in the center of the cove, Saemon will appear and challenge you to a duel.
Nagano Saemon Walkthrough
Help the Ashigaru Soldier
Finding Nagano Saemon is part of the Hunter and Hunted quest. To start, head to the beach near the northern bay of Wakasa, just northwest of Sotomo Gate. Speak with the injured Ashigaru soldier on the beach, who will inform you that Saemon has been ambushing soldiers in pursuit of him.
Find Nagano Saemon
Once you have clues about Saemon’s whereabouts, continue northwest until you reach another beach littered with dead soldiers. Follow the trail of corpses until you spot a cave that leads to Sotomo Cove.
Make sure to stock up on arrows, as the duel with Saemon will mostly involve ranged combat. But should you run out of arrows, there will be arrow containers scattered around the arena.
Duel Nagano Saemon
When you're ready, enter Sotomo Cave and examine the dead soldier in the center. A cutscene will trigger, leading to your confrontation with Saemon and starting the duel.
This duel can be a bit challenging, as Saemon keeps his distance and attacks with his bow. Use your own bow to shoot at him, aiming for headshots to inflict more damage. Stay alert, especially when he uses a Smoke Bomb because there’s a chance he’ll attempt to ambush you from behind with a melee attack.

Upon winning the duel against Nagano Saemon, you'll immediately receive the quest rewards: Blood Rain for Yasuke, Arrows on Dead Body Engraving, +2 Mastery Points, and 2,000 XP.

This duel is unequal &immersion breaking. First of all, you don't KNOW that it's a bow fight and that you will be unable to use any other weapons. Second of all, he ALWAYS has the high ground and you are not allowed to ever climb up yourself which is the first thing I would do in a real fight. Third of all, he can goddamn teleport from spot to spot which is magic, not a part of this world lore, and immersion breaking. Fourth of all, he can melee attack you and you cannot use melee to fight back.
