Complete Assassinate Leader Contracts

Kakurega Contract With Hideout Resources

"Assassinate Leader" contracts you get from Kakuregas offer Oakwood as part of the rewards, which is unique to this specific contract type. You also get other Yasuke crafting materials such as Tatara Coal, Ironsand, and Tamahagame.

Common Chest

Common chests found in POIs like bandit or enemy camps often contain Oakwood. However, it is not guaranteed as other crafting materials or equipment may be looted instead.

You’ll almost always find a common chest when completing Assassinate Leader contracts when you raid their camps, so keep an eye out for them on your compass or the observe function.

Purchase From Port Traders as Yasuke

Port Trader With Oakwood

Port Traders you can find by the shores of Feudal Japan can sell crafting materials and hideout resources, including Oakwood. Switch to Yasuke, then see the shop of the trader to purchase Yasuke's specific crafting materials.

Dismantle Yasuke's Bows or Teppos

Yasuke Bow Dismantle

Once the Hideout Blacksmith is unlocked, you can dismantle extra bows and teppos you are not using for a handful of Oakwood.

To dismantle equipment, see Heiji's shop at the hideout and navigate to the Dismantle tab past Upgrades and Engravings.

Smuggle Wood Stockpiles at Hideout Level 10

Hideout Levels

As you level up your hideout by building and upgrading, you'll unlock various Hideout Level bonuses.

At Hideout Level 10, smuggled stockpiles not only return hideout resources for further upgrades but also bring back crafting materials. To gather oakwood specifically, make sure to tag the wood stockpiles for smuggling.
