AC Shadows - Should Yaya Forgive Tetsuo or Take Responsibility
Encourage Yaya to forgive Tetsuo to earn her favor in Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) during The Stray Dogs quest. Read on for the outcomes of asking Yaya and Tetsuo to forgive each other as well as telling Yaya to take responsibility.

After finding Tetsuo during The Stray Dogs quest, he will run away from the Church of Takatsuki. Yaya will then stop him, and you will be given the choice to either encourage Yaya to forgive him or take responsibility.

Regardless of your choice, Yaya will ask Tetsuo for forgiveness and forgive him in return. However, your choice has an impact on whether or not you recruit Yaya.

Choose to Forgive Tetsuo

In order to recruit Yaya as an ally, you must choose the peaceful, forgiving choice at least twice during The Stray Dogs and Heads Will Roll quests. Choosing whether or not to forgive Tetsuo is the last choice that affects Yaya's recruitment.

If you have chosen “Killing them isn't justice” at the end of Heads Will Roll and chose to forgive the Shrine Raider earlier on in The Stray Dogs, then your choice regarding Tetsuo will not matter. Yaya will agree if you ask her to work together with you.

If you only chose one of those forgiving options, then you must choose to ask Yaya and Tetsuo to forgive each other if you want to recruit her. Otherwise, Yaya will not be recruitable for the rest of your playthrough.
