Once you reach Act 2, head over to Yamato to begin the Yamabushi Imposters side quest. Look for Genpaku in southeastern Yoshino (near Mitarai Valley). You'll find him standing in front of the Path of Serenity Hidden Trail. Speak to him to get the objective board to appear in your list of quests.
Note: Yamabushi Imposters is a high level objective board that features assassination targets that are level 35+. It is recommended that you tackle this side quest later in the game, especially when playing on higher difficulties.
To get this NPC to appear in Yamato, you'll first need to progress the main story and reach Act 2. This means finishing Mibuno Showdown and getting Yasuke to join the League.
All of the Yamabushi imposters were formerly soldiers of Nobunaga during his conquest of the Iga province. Driven mad by the war and their mission, they started impersonating mountain monks in order to better kill unsuspecting people across feudal Japan.
