Obtained from Legendary Chests
You can get specific armor from opening Legendary Chests in the overworld. You can usually get these chests inside the castle as the main reward after killing all the Samurai Daishos in the area.
Complete Specific Quests
Specific quests will reward you Legendary Weapon for completing themm. Note that you may only get Legendary Weapon from quests if they are specified in the Quest Board menu.
Progress on the Animus Projects
You can get Legendary Weapons by reaching specific tiers in Animus Projects. You will need to do Animus Missions in the game to get Data Fragments and level up your Animus Project.
Get from the Animus Exchange Tab
Animus Exchange will allow you to trade your Keys that you get from Animus Projects and obtain Legendary Items, including weapons, and use it in the game.
Weapons and Armor have the highest Key Cost in the Animus Exchange, so be sure to level up your Animus Projects to get more!
Purchase Bundles in the Store
Assassin's Creed Shadows has microtransactions available, allowing you to get exclusive Legendary Weapon, Armor, Trinkets, and other cosmetics in the game. You can use Helix Credits to purchase one of the store bundles in there.
