How to Complete Shimosato Kofun

The Shimosato Kofun can only be accessed and completed by Yasuke. If you're currently using Naoe, switch characters before attempting to enter the Kofun.

Step	Walkthrough
1	Shimosato Kofun is on the southeast corner of the map in Kii. You can approach by heading south of the Kumano Kakurega and enter as Yasuke.
2	Move the wooden block at the entrance to the right and head down the steps.
3	Reach the pool of water and dive in. Swim down and you will see an underwater corridor. Quickly swim through it and surface up above the submerged stairs along the way.
4	After surfacing, you'll find yourself in a room with a destructible wall. Turn to the hallway on its left.
5	In this hallway you will find an explosive barrel. Pick it up to destroy the wall from earlier.
6	Place it by the rubble wall and shoot it with a bow or teppo to destroy it. The opening will lead to another underwater path to dive down.
7	Swim down and follow the path all the way to the surface on the other side. If you swim quickly, you will have more than enough air to make it through.
8	Exit the water on the other side and enter the only available hallway. At the end, you'll find an opening to shoot an explosive barrel, destroying the wall near the water.
9	Head on back through the opening made with the blast, and turn left when you find the next destructible wall.
10	You will find two wooden blocks. Pull both out to open a connecting path back to the room from Step 4.
11	In the connecting path, you will find an explosive barrel in the same spot you picked one up earlier. Pick it up and return back to the wall to destroy it.
12	Head through the opening to find another path blocked by a wooden block. Push it back and to the left, then use it to climb over the wall.
13	On the second floor, you'll find another wooden block. Move it closer to the stone platform above, then climb on it to reach the platform and head down the long hallway
14	At the end of the path, you'll spot the Legendary Chest across a gap, making it unreachable. Dive into the water between and swim through the underwater corridor. Surface on the other side to reach the final area.

Step	Walkthrough
1	After surfacing from the water, head down the path with two goose statues.
2	In the room with the destructible wall, grab the nearby explosive barrel and use it to blast through.
3	Behind the newly created opening is a wooden block. Pull it back all the way to the other end.
4	Turn around and push it in to make sure it is close enough to the wall to climb up. Once on top, there is a short path ahead to the room with the chest.
5	You will find the Legendary Chest and the exit next to it in the following room. Completion Rewards: ・2000 XP ・Knowledge Point ・Riddle of Steel ・Impactful Sprint Attack

How to Exit Shimosato Kofun

Path to the Right of the Legendary Chest

The exit path is to the right of the chest, and the end is blocked only by a destructible wall with an already-placed explosive for you to shoot. Once open, the exit stairs will be directly to your left.

The Shimosato Kofun is located in the bottom right corner of the map, inside the Kii Region. The nearest fast travel point is the Kumano Kakurega in Kumano Sanzan. From there, head south to reach the Kofun.
