How to Track a Quest

Players can track quests by looking at clues from quest objectives and expending scouts to pinpoint a quest's location in Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows). Read on to learn how to use scouts and observation to locate objectives, and what achievements are unlocked.

Use Scouts to Reveal Quest Objectives

Players cannot track down quests with clues from objectives alone. Use your scouts to reveal undiscovered areas and provide information.

Use Quest Objectives to Locate the General Area
To begin, players need to check their quest objectives for clues on where the quest is located. Then, look for the general area on the map according to the clues.

Use Scouts to Reveal Objective
Reveal the Quest Area with Scouts
When you use your scouts, a circle will appear indicating the area to be revealed. Hover this area over the location the clues suggest the objective would be. The more scouts you expend, the wider your search radius will be.

Track the Quest Marker
If you are successful, the exact location of the quest will be marked on your map. This blue marker can be highlighted, giving you access to pathfinding and directions.
