What is the Max Level

The max level is Level 60 in Assasin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows). Read on to learn more about the max level including what you unlock after hitting it and how to reach max level for your save.

Max Level

The max level in Assassin's Creed Shadows is Level 60. After hitting level 60, any XP you earn will go towards Master Levels instead of actual level ups. These means, no more base stat increases after Level 60 and all gear maxes out at item level 60.

Master Levels

Master Levels are a way for you to keep XP meaningful even after hitting the max level. Each Master Level will grant you +1 Mastery Point, allowing you to keep farming this resource long after you've exhausted majority of the activities in-game.

No Max Level Trophy in AC Shadows

Fortunately, achievement hunters can rest easy because AC Shadows has no max level trophy achievement. You'll only really want to reach max level for the Mastery Points you get which you'll need in order to max out some Mastery Boards for related trophies.

How to Reach Max Level

Spam Contracts in Between Objective Boards

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to get to level 60. You'll have to spam Contracts every season across multiple regions, all while completing objective boards since they're the next best source of XP in the game.

By the time you reach Level 50+, you'll be needing 20,000 XP per level up, which means a minimum of 13~15 contracts per half season if you want to keep leveling up.
