Customize Your Gear With Transmog

Transmog Hood

You can transmog any equipped headgear into a hood you own. AC Shadows has various headgear you can find and equip, each granting unique stats. These include shinobi masks, headbands, helmets, and importantly, hoods.

Hide Gear for Headgear
Hide Gear Button: PS5 - R2 | XBOX - RT

You can hide parts of your gear while keeping all stats and bonuses. Open your inventory, highlight your gear, and press the Hide Gear button to hide it to effectively take off your hood or headgear.

Change Headgear Look via Customize

Transmog Headband

If you have a hood equipped, you cannot lower it or take it off without going into the customize menu. The only way to take off the hood is to transmog or equip something else.
