Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows)

Hideout buildings can allow players access to useful features and unique customization in Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows). See a list of all hideout buildings, including their functions and unique effects.

Hiroma
The Hiroma is the main building of the Hideout and serves as the central hub for all other structures. Inside, you'll find the Improve Hideout table, which provides access to the Build menu.
Go to the Hiroma to check the Hideout's status, manage building and room construction, and upgrades.
Stables
The Stables building is the only other building already built in the Hideout with the Hiroma. Upgrading it improves the efficiency of smuggling stockpiles.
- Level 1: Tagging Stockpiles costs 2 Scouts
- Level 2: Tagging Stockpiles costs 1 Scout
- Level 3: 20% more resources from Stockpiles
Kakurega
Building the Kakurega should be a higher priority than all the other buildings, as this nets you access to the other Kakurega safehouses on the map. Upgrading is also a priority for its useful abilities and access to more Kakurega spots.
- Level 1: +1 Scout, Unlocks Kakurega safehouses
- Level 2: Scouts can clear Wanted alerts and you can get seasonal provincial rumors that reveal clue locations
- Level 3: Adds more Kakurega locations and reduces unlock costs by 30%
Study
Building the Study grants you more Scouts and can ease quest searching with smaller search zones.
- Level 1: +1 Scout and reduce search zone for quests by 25%
- Level 2: +1 Scout
- Level 3: +1 Scout and reduce search zone for quests by 60%
Forge
The Forge is another priority building, for it allows you to upgrade your Weapons and Armor further and attach more high-caliber Engravings.
- Level 1: Weapons and Armor can be upgraded to Lvl. 20 and dismantled
- Level 2: Unlocks Lvl. 40 upgrades and non-Legendary engravings attachment
- Level 3: Unlocks Lvl. 60 upgrades and Legendary engravings attachment
Dojo
Building the Dojo can strengthen your allies. Upgrading it lets you have two allies fight alongside you instead of just one and further enhances training ranks, making them stronger.
- Level 1: Allies can be trained to Initiate rank
- Level 2: Have two Allies instead of one
- Level 3: Allies can be trained to Veteran rank
Themed Rooms
After upgrading the main core buildings to Level 3, continue building Themed Rooms to gain more Hideout levels. Some Themed Rooms also grant passive perks, such as increased experience gain or improved ration efficiency.

| Nando | Replenishing Scouts at a Kakurega costs 140 Mon instead of 200. |

| Tea Room | Ration efficiency increased by 20%. |
| Gallery | Allows you to create and switch between custom Equipment loadouts. |
| Small Room | No Passive Bonus. Rooms for adding decorations inside, you can build these last for Hideout XP. |

What You Can Do at the Hideout
Build and Upgrade Buildings to Unlock Buffs and Functions
Building rooms to expand your hideout will also apply buffs to your character, increasing the quality of your playthrough. These building upgrades will also unlock different functions available to players and their scouts, such as smuggling stockpiles and training allies.
Best Hideout Building Upgrades
Manage and Upgrade Your Scouts
Players can manage and replenish their scouts at Kakuregas by interacting with the bundle of sacks. You can also enhance their functions by building and upgrading new rooms, allowing them to pinpoint objectives and clear wanted statuses.
Take on Contracts to Obtain Resources
Players can go to Kakuregas to look through contracts. These contracts ask players to complete objectives, such as eliminating targets, in return for EXP and materials.
Upgrade and Engrave Your Gear
After unlocking the Forge in the Way of the Blacksmith quest, you can upgrade your weapons and armor here.

Speak to Allies
Occasionally, your allies may have a speech bubble above their heads. Take these opportunities to talk to them for dialogue or objectives.
