Projects are the free battle pass system in Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows). Read on to learn more about Projects and their rewards, including info on how to unlock and level them up.

Projects are free reward systems that function similar to battle passes in Assassin's Creed Shadows. By earning Data Fragments (battle pass XP), players can get rewards whenever the project levels up.
AC Shadows will feature multiple Projects that you can activate. However, do note that only one Project can be active at any given time. You can switch between active Projects since progress is saved even after switching.
Projects are one of the best ways to earn Exchange Store Currency. At key levels, you'll earn up to 1500 Keys that you can then spend on premium items in the Exchange Store.

| The Legacy | Awakening |
The Legacy Project will have 21 available rewards. The final reward will be a Legendary Light Armor for Naoe called the Cerulean Guise Kosode.
The Awakening Project will have 21 available rewards. The final reward will be a Legendary Armor for Yasuke called the Cerulean Guise Armor.
Anomalies are weekly quests that reward players with Data Fragments - a currency that levels up your active Project. Players are given four Anomalies per week, with each Anomaly giving variable amounts of Data Fragments.
Players will need to reach the Heads will Roll
main quest before gaining access to Projects. During the mission, you will encounter a rift in the overworld. Entering it will trigger a cutscene which automatically open up the Projects screen after it ends.
