From the Ashes is a quest under the People of Iga board in Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows). Read on for a complete walkthrough of From the Ashes and where to find Matsu!

Return to Naoe's Old House

Naoe

You can start this quest by returning to the Mibuno Vale in Iga, Naoe's hometown. Inside her old house, you will find a letter addressed to you from Auntie Matsu.

Find Matsu at the Hinotani Shrine

From the Ashes Matsu Location

Matsu can be found in the western Nabari Wilds, at the Hinotani Shrine. Fast travel to the Kashiwara Kakurega and head southeast, or follow the path directly south from Naoe's house if no nearby fast travel points are available.

She will be standing in front of the shrine. Speak to her to complete the quest, which will automatically transition to The Monk's Wake quest, continuing Matsu's questline.

From the Ashes Rewards

1000 XP

Completing this quest grants you 1000 XP, and immediately transitions to the next objective in Matsu's questline.
