How to Get Armor

Chests and Legendary Chests
Chests will contain random outfits, similar to weapons. You will have more chances of getting one by raiding castles and restricted areas in the overworld.
Note that Castle Chests have fixed drops and normal Chests are all random.
Legendary Chests are fixed loot
Legendary Chests are the chests that contain fixed, Legendary loot. Legendary Chests are typically found in Castles, but there are some scattered throughout the overworld.
Purchase from Gear Vendor
Each Gear Vendor in the overwolrd sells armor and outfits for Naoe and Yasuke. The level and rarity of the armor will depend on your current level.
You can find them mostly on towns and settlements.
Dropped by Enemies
Some enemies like Ronins, Guardians, and other similar enemies can drop a random non-legendary weapon for defeating them. These enemies are usually found inside restricted areas across Feudal Japan.
Complete Quests
Armor can be obtained by finishing quests in Assassin's Creed Shadows. You can check the Quest Board in-game to see which one of the available quests will reward an armor!
The rarity of the armor will range from Uncommon to Legendary.
Get Progress on the Animus Projects
Animus Projects will reward you with Armor if you progress to specific tiers. All of the items you can get from them are Legendaries.
You can progress an Animus Project by getting Data Fragments that you can obtain from Anomaly quests. Note that these are time-sensitive, so be sure to do them before the new set of quests arrive.
Obtainable from the Animus Exchange Tab
The Animus Exchange Tab allows you to trade Armor using Keys you get from Animus Projects. All armor you can get from it are Legendary.
Purchase Bundles in the Store
Helix Credits will allow you to buy bundles containing armor and other items like weapons and mounts from the Store in the game. Every item in the Store will be of Legendary rarity.
