Find Ujimasa
Head east along the creek in southern Kyoto, you’ll come across Ujimasa at the Kiyomizudera Temple. Ujimasa will then ask you to eliminate rogue samurai harrassing people in Kyoto.
Assassinate the Twisted Tree

 Takahashi Shiro is located in the southwest part of Nijo Palace, standing guard on a platform |
 Takahashi Saburo |
 You can find Takahashi Saburo in between Asukai Clan Domain and Furo of Kyoto. He can be found along with Takahashi Taro. |
 Takahashi Jiro |
 Takahashi Jiro can be located patrolling the south of Honnoji Temple |
 Takahashi Taro |
 You can find Takahashi Taro in between Asukai Clan Domain and Furo of Kyoto. He can be found along with Takahashi Saburo. |
 Takahashi Goro (Can be spared) |
 Takahashi Goro can be found patrolling in the ruins of Shokokuji Temple. Note that he can be spared |
 Takahashi Ichi-Hime (Can be spared) |
 Takahashi Ichi-Hime is located inside the main building of Umenomiya Taisha Shrine, southwest of Nijo Palace. Note that she can be spared |
 Takahashi Inoshichi |
 Takahashi Inoshichi can be found in an unmarked hostile area directly west of Honnoji Temple, inside the main central building. |
There are seven targets, all members of the Takahashi clan, scattered throughout Kyoto in the Yamashiro region.
Note that two of them can be spared. Approaching Takahashi Goro and Takahashi Ichi-Hime triggers a choice event, where you can either spare or kill them.
The Twisted Tree Target Locations
Return to Ujimasa
After Assassinating the Twisted Tree, return to Ujimasa at Kiyomizudera Temple. You'll finish the quest Inside Help.
Inside Help Reward
1000 XP
After successfully completing the Inside Help quest, players will be rewarded with 1,000 experience points (EXP).
