Forge Stronger Weapons at the Smithy
You can use Iron Ingots to forge stronger weapons at the Smithy in the Somniel. The stronger you want your weapon to be, the more materials and gold it requires so make sure to acquire as many materials as you can.

Explore the Battlefield After a Fight
There's a chance that this item can be obtained by exploring the battlefield after a battle. Be on the lookout for sparkling areas on the ground and examine them to get useful items!
Adopt Animals and Let Them Graze in the Farmyard
You can sometimes get Iron Ingot from the Somniel by letting the animals you adopted during exploration graze in the Farmyard. After some time, these animals will give you valuable items, so make sure to check up on them often.
Raise your country's donation level to adopt more animals
The country's Donation level determines which species of animals you can adopt. Even if you encounter them in Exploration, some animals can only be adopted on higher Donation levels.
Raise your country's Donation level via the Bulletin Board at the Somniel's Cafe Terrace to adopt more animals.
