I generally baby my starter fliers in all the FE since they tend to be a great return on investment. I gave her the DLC Energy Drop, boots, and Draco Shield, then the first 2 Energy Drops. A lot of investment for sure so my milage was very skued, but it made the beginning and middle of Maddening a whole lot easier and she stayed relevant for the whole game using a +4 Killer Lance, as well as a +4 Flame Lance.

She has the 5th highest growth rate in magic of all units, highest spd, and 6th highest dex. She is the second best mage after Anna, I am surprised so few build her as a dedicated mage. Granted if you get Dire Thunder Citrinne is probably just a bit better but I see no reason not to run at least 3 mages in anny team comp, so I don't see why she is not recommended as a mage by this guide, or used as such by the community

Keeping Chloe a Griffin Knight gives her unique access to one of the few able to easily fully cap Avoid (201 is the highest enemy hit I've seen in TT50). Giver her Avoid +30 from Marth and Lance Agility +5 from Eirika. Cover the last bit of Avoid she may need with an Engraving on Brionac or Flame Lance and you can pretty much throw her at anything and she'll destroy them all while never being touched. Because of this kind of build, I do recommend that you prioritize defeating Backup units first.

I made her a sword griffin and gave her a Levin sword.

With lower magic and more healing units on mounts/flying I didn't see a pint in gryphon rider. I went sword lance wyvern rider and gave her the three houses bracelet for the bow defense and she can use 4 weapon types while engaged

I took her from Lance Flyer to Mage to Griffin knight and put Michiah Ring on Her in the End she has fire lance Bifrost and Access to Rank A staves Along with the self healing and light magic tomes from being Engaged So a very well rounded Unite

she is proficient in lance naturally but with emblems can be any weapon style Griffin Knight. I am using Axe because there is an excess of lance users. She can also do magic because her growth is slightly better for Mag than Str

pretty sure they just didn’t use the correct weapon icon since those classes all have an axe, sword and Lance form now

Dont trust them to must lul ,personally i use her as a lancer class with crit build , she doing well .

The recommendation is to use axe mastery, but shes proficient in using a lance. And then your tier list mentions that she should transition to magic. Mixed signals
