Anvil Fighters Guild
Den of Thieves is located in the Anvil Fighters Guild. Speak with Azzan to start the quest.

Speak with Azzan in Anvil Fighters Guild
Speak with Azzan in the Anvil Fighters Guild and choose the Contract dialogue option to start the quest.
Speak with Maglir
Find Maglir in the guild and speak with him. Choose the Contract dialogue option and he will tell you to ask around in Anvil for clues. He will follow you or you can tell him to wait for you to return.
Speak with one of your guildmates or the Anvil locals and choose the Thieves dialogue option. Make sure their disposition is high enough so they will tell you to speak with Newheim the Portly.
Speak with Newheim the Portly
Find Newheim the Portly and choose the Thieves dialogue option. He will tell you that the thieves are in Hrota Cave and has his family heirloom.
Make sure to also choose Heirloom dialogue option in order for the stolen family heirloom to appear in the cave. An optional side quest will be added in your journal called Newheim's Flagon.
Kill the Thieves in Hrota Cave

Enter the cave and kill the all eight thieves in the cave. Be careful when entering the last room in the cave as there is a tripwire at the hallway.
The stolen family heirloom is on the east side of the cave at the largest chamber. Pick it up from the table and return it to Newheim the Portly to get three bottles of Newheim's Special Brew as a reward.
Return to Azzan
Return to Azzan and choose the Thieves dialogue option to complete the quest.

Newheim's Special Brew
If you completed the optional quest to retrieve Newheim's family heirloom, he will reward you with three bottles of Newheim's Special Brew.

The following quests will be available depending on your progress with the Fighters Guild:
- Amelion's Debt will be available from Burz gro-Khash in Cheydinhal.
- The Master's Son will be available from Modryn Oreyn in Chorrol if you have completed this quest and Amelion's Debt.
