Enchanted Daedric Claymore (Most Damage)

Enchanted Daedric Claymore

An Enchanted Daedric Claymore is the best Claymore when it comes to damage. Daedric Claymores have the highest base damage among their weapon type, and you can create your own magic variant by enchanting a generic Daedric Claymore using a Sigil Stone.

Aim for Transcendent Sigil Stones that are available after closing Oblivion Gates at level 18 or higher. Among enchantment effects, Shock Damage is ideal, as it's the least resisted by most enemies. However, Fire and Frost damage, or even Soul Trap are also solid alternatives.

Daedric Weapons and Armor Appear at Level 20+

Daedric equipment begins appearing as random loot starting at Level 20, usually dropped by Warrior or Marauder enemies. Keep an eye out for these as you progress.

Sinweaver (Best Earlier On)

Sinweaver Location

Sinweaver is a unique enchanted claymore with Fire damage and Drain Fatigue effects on hit. With solid base damage, it also has a Fire enchantment to boost your overall damage, while the Drain Fatigue is especially effective against melee enemies, making them easier to stagger by rapidly wearing down their stamina.

This claymore is found near the end of the Azani Blackheart quest in the Fighters Guild questline. It can be looted from the final boss within the Ayleid ruin of Atatar.
