Since a Pilgrim focuses mainly on exploring, bartering, and interacting, prioritizing Blunt, Light Armor, Mercantile, and Speechcraft best suits its natural attributes.
Blunt improves the pilgrim's combat proficiency, particularly with blunt weapons.
Light Armor allows the pilgrim to wear armor without a penalty to its mobility, which is useful for exploration and combat.
Mercantile allows the pilgrim to get better deals when buying or selling items.
Speechcraft improves the pilgrim's interactions with other characters, making the pilgrim more likeable and persuasive, which can be useful for gathering information and other social interactions.
| Primary | Mace |
|---|---|
| Alternative | War Axes |
Mace is the best weapon type for the pilgrim simply because it greatly benefits from the Blunt skill. War Axe is also a great choice since it's also a blunt weapon.
However, any blunt weapon would work for the pilgrim in general thanks to the Blunt skill. The pilgrim isn't necessarily a combat-focused class, so selecting a specific blunt weapon wouldn't be much of a big deal.
| Best Race | Best Origin |
|---|---|
Imperial
|
Nibenay |
Imperial is the best race for the pilgrim due to their innate high Personality attribute, making them more persuasive during interactions like trading and information gathering, which is in line with the pilgrim's gameplay.
Choosing the Nibenay origin gives +10 more points to Speed compared to Colovia, which is an attribute that's more beneficial for the pilgrim.
| Best Birthsign | Description |
|---|---|
The Thief |
Those born under the sign of The Thief benefit from increased Agility, Speed and Luck. ・ Fortify Agility: Increases Agility by 10 points. ・ Fortify Luck: Increases Luck by 10 points. ・ Fortify Speed: Increases Speed by 10 points. |
The Thief is the best birthsign for the pilgrim due to the increase in Luck and Speed. Luck allows the pilgrim to influence events to its favor more often. Meanwhile, Speed simply makes the pilgrim move faster, which is useful not only for exploration but also for outrunning enemies.
